MY STRENGTH
MY STRENGTH
For God has power to help or to cast down. —II Chronicles 25:8
God has the ability to do whatever He desires. His power is not limited as ours is. Think about how weak you are. I read that, back in 1957, a fellow by the name of Anderson lifted 6,270 pounds with his legs. Wow… that is a lot of power… for a person. But when you take and compare that with the power of God, it fades into nothingness…
You need God’s help— “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). God ahead and ask Him. Whatever the help is you need, He is ever present— His is a “friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24). We can always depend on Him. Besides—
“Yet I am always with You; You hold my right hand. You guide me with Your counsel, and later receive me in glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And on earth I desire no one besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” —Psalm 73:23-26
Yes, God is my help and He can also cast down anyone He desires. None of the wicked, evil people are outside His power. He is able to put them down in a moment. One day He will. For all who do not want to love Him and live for Him will be separated from Him forever! How horrible is that!
I am so grateful Dear Father that You drew me to Jesus. Without You doing so, I would have no hope. Now my hope is in Jesus and in Him alone. May I live that way by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIpnW3rtRQ4
