A HARVEST IS COMING

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. —Galatians 6:7-10

             A person is deceived if they think that they can mock God.  No, what a man sows will be what he reaps. “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”  So, I ask, to what end are you sowing— for the flesh and destruction or to please the Spirit and eternal life?

             We should “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”  Do you feel like giving up?  Have you become weary?  Don’t become weary in doing good.  Keep doing what is good.  Don’t give up.  Keep going because “at the proper time we will reap a harvest.”  A harvest will come.  So, persevere! 

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” —Hebrews 12:1-2

             So, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”  And there you have it.  This is what our life should look like.  Who can you do good for today?  Do good for someone(s) who do not know our Lord and do good “especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”  Who is on your mind to do good for?  May you make the effort to do so.  Remember, a harvest will be had for the good that you do.  It will happen.  That is a promise from our Lord.  And so, Dear Father, may I do good to those who don’t know you and to those who do.  Yes, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus for the benefit of many others— lost and saved.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x6J1cDcJqI&list=RD6x6J1cDcJqI&start_radio=1
