PEACE

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. —Isaiah 26:3

Are you looking for peace? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnZ-9BDeTFM&t=4429s Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).  Only Jesus can give us a real peace because He is the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

First, “since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).  We are no longer “God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” (Romans 5:10).  Yes, once we were at war with God, but now we have peace with Him through Jesus.  Do you have that peace relationship?

Secondly, since we have this promise, we do not need to “be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).  The result of—

  • Not being anxious about anything
  • In every situation, pray to God
  • In every situation, petition God
  • In every situation be thankful
  • In every situation present requests to God

—yes, the result will be the PEACE OF GOD will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”   We first have peace with God through Jesus and after we come into that relationship with Him, then we can have the peace of God which, like a military guard, will guard our hearts (emotions) and minds (thinking).  So, are you at peace with God?  Do you have the peace of God?  This is how we come to be at peace with God?  I would suggest you take that step if you have not already! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=3s  Then, listen to Him through His Word often and speak with Him often and He will give you “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Dear Father, may all reading this today have the peace that only comes with knowing Jesus and listening and speaking with You regularly.  If there are any who have not called on Jesus yet that are reading this, may Your Holy Spirit encourage them to do so now.  For those who have called on Jesus, may they experience the peace that only He, the Prince of Peace, can give.  Yes, may be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the Name of Your Precious Son Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wdiqc-WLVAs&list=RDWdiqc-WLVAs&start_radio=1
