FORGIVEN… FOREVER!

FORGIVEN… FOREVER!

For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.  —Hebrews 10:14-18

The Lamb of God was offered one time to perfect all those who are set apart for His special service, being made holy. Listen, He said, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”  Brother and sister, this is so awesome what He has done for us!

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.   He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. —Psalm 103:8-12 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_ZWEO36jok

If He treated us as our sins deserve we would wind up in Hell. He has great love “for those who fear Him.” Our sins have been removed from us “as far as the east is from the west.” I am so glad it is not only as far as the north is from the south! That would only be about 12,000 miles before north meets south. And yet I can travel forever east and I would never go west whereas if I traveled north I would after 12,000 miles start going south. He has removed our sins forever from us. This should cause us to rejoice greatly and love Him dearly. “You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea” (Micah 7:19). Your sins are gone!

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. —Romans 8:1-4

Brother and sister let us walk freely and faithfully to honor our Lord.   Yes, dear Father may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUxI-ynsTnM&list=UUf1NPIFOBwzTLVQiEDnq4Cw&index=2
