WORK THE WORK HE DESIRES US TO WORK!

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. —Philippians 1:6

…for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. —Philippians 2:13

               God gave us the ability to know who Jesus is (II Corinthians 4:6) and He drew us to Jesus (John 6:44) so we could call on Jesus and be saved (Romans 10:13).  So it is that God begins a good work in all those who have faith in Jesus, following Him.  He not only has begun a work in us, but he will bring it to completion at the day when we see Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNjZlHARnEk

               It is also God who works in us to have the will to do His good please and then to work for His good pleasure.  So, what is His good please that He is willing you to be and do?  What is the work He desires you to be about?  After all, “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).  And, we are to be “a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good” (Titus 2:14).  So, “let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2).  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhk_5c6H-yc
