ONE DAY— WE WILL HAVE A GLOROUS BODY LIKE JESUS HAS!

ONE DAY—- WE WILL HAVE A GLORIOUS BODY LIKE JESUS HAS!

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. —Philippians 3:20-21

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. —Philippians 4:8

Are we living like we are a citizen of heaven?  That is what we are who have called on Jesus to save us!  Presently, we are waiting for our Lord and Savior to return.  For those who are alive when He does return, their bodies will be transformed immediately to be like His glorious body.  That is true of those who have died as well.  They will be given new bodies also.  All things are in subjection to the power of our Lord Jesus.  If that is not true, then we will not receive transformed bodies.  But… it is true… Jesus does have all power… our bodies will be changed to be like His glorious body!  Hallelujah!  The day is coming!

In the meantime, let us think like citizens of heaven.  The thinking process, our mindset, is so important.  So, “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”  Yes, these are the things we are to think about.  When your mind starts going in a negative direction, stop and think who you are as a follower of Jesus.   You are a citizen of heaven and then start thinking on “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise— yes, those are thing things we are to have our mind dwell on!  So, Dear Father, please help us to think properly as to who we are in Jesus as citizens of Heaven, but also to think on “whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise— yes, help us to think on these things by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus, Your Son and our Savior! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_FGVDVp6b8
