FRIENDS OF JESUS!

 The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. —Psalms 25:14

 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. —John 15:15
             

Now really, what better friend do we have?   Think about this. The Creator and Sustainer of all creation calls those who love Him— friends! He has revealed to us his “business.” Let us be about that “business” that He has left for us to do. Jesus said that “everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” Wow, think about that! Whatever Jesus has learned from His Father He has relayed to us. May we be faithfully in His Word, listening to Him, learning from Him and then being and doing what He desires. May this be so!

 “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” —Proverbs 18:24

             Jesus is the Greatest Friend we can have. He always looks out for our best interests. He always loves us even when He knows absolutely everything about us— all out thoughts and actions, motives and intentions. Let us be wise to keep Him as our priority focus and be careful about others friends we spend much time with. Dear Father I so thank You for the friendship of Jesus. May I lovingly be faithful to Him by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son. So be it!
