TRUST HIM!

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will… —Ephesians 1:11

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. —Romans 8:28 

            God “who works all things according to the counsel of his will” and “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” All things mean just that— “all things.” So take heart! Whatever is happening in your life God is working it out “according to the counsel of his will” and “according to his purpose.”   He is doing that for those who love Him.

            Do you love Him? Then be courageous because God is doing a work in and through your life according to His plan. Will you trust Him for that? When things are going well… will you trust Him? When things are not going so well… will you trust Him? Whatever is going on in our lives… will we trust Him? Yes, let us trust Him, serve Him, wait on Him because He loves us and has our best interests in mind… even when it does not “feel” like it! Dear Father I want to thank You that You are working all things out according to Your plans and purposes. May I seek to yield to Your desires in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
