Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. —Psalm 100:1-5

Joy, gladness, songs, thanksgiving, praise… do these describe our lives toward the Lord Jesus Christ? Does He make you glad and are you rejoicing in Him? May this be how we started our day and carry us through the day because “the joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).

May this joy flow over into the lives around us as we walk through this day and every day. Oh, may it be so!

Dear Father, may this be my life today and every day. I truly thank You for the joy You have given me in Jesus and may I share this with those around me. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit.
