AMAZING GRACE!
For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time… our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time…. For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy… Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. —Hebrews 10:10, 12, 14, 17-18 All who call on the Name of the Lord Jesus: · Are made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus,…

DEATH
And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment… —Hebrews 9:27 People have all kinds of ideas about what happens after we die, but where do they get their information? http://thoughtcatalog.com/stephanie-casella/2015/08/20-people-on-what-they-think-happens-after-they-die/ They are just repeating something they have learned along the way. We better be sure about what happens after death because after we die there is no coming back to change our mind. Is the source we are depending on for our information reliable? According to the verse above we are going to die one time and then judgment will follow. This is serious business and not a game. Are you ready to…

OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST— JESUS
He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven. Unlike those other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices every day. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he offered himself as the sacrifice for the people’s sins. The law appointed high priests who were limited by human weakness. But after the law was given, God appointed his Son with an oath, and his…

ANCHORED!
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. —Hebrews 6:19-20 Ships in a storm near shore need to be firmly anchored or they will be destroyed on the rocks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RDHWJowlTQ So too do we need “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” so we will not be destroyed in hell one day. There is only one “Anchor” and that is Jesus who has entered the inner sanctuary behind the curtain on our behalf. He is…

DISCIPLE
There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. —Hebrews…

BUILT THINGS HAD A BUILDER
For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God. —Hebrews 3:4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMrpeNaNh84 Now after watching this video someone comes along and tells you that this house just appeared or that it built itself and adapted to its surroundings over a very long period of time. You tell them adamantly that there were a bunch of contractors that built it over a very short period of time, but the person you are talking with stands his ground and continues to tell you that this house just evolved out of nothing. Yeh, that person would have a problem. Yet we are clearly told that “the one who…

JESUS TASTED DEATH FOR ALL PEOPLE!
He (Jesus) suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone. —Hebrews 2:9 About every half second there is a death on this planet. I read where it is estimated that there have been about 100 billion people that have lived on earth up until now. That means about 93 million people have died. That is a lot of sorrow and pain. Jesus took it all at the cross. http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ We cannot fathom the immensity of what Jesus did on the cross for us when He “suffered death for us” and “tasted death for everyone.” Not only that…

END OF THE WORLD?
The Son… sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. —Hebrews 1:3 Oh no, it’s the end of the world. What can we do? Climate cooling warming change is going to destroy us. The seas are going to rise! Homes will be destroyed! People are going to starve! The atomic bomb will destroy the world. What are we going to do? Do something! Ingredients for a perfect storm! http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/23/us/feat-doomsday-clock-three-minutes-midnight/ We definitely live in dangerous times, but one scheme of the devil is to cause confusion, to create crisis so people will bend to things that they do not usually bend to. There are evil forces seeking to destroy. Yes,…

Help Someone!
Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. —Titus 3:14 So you know of an urgent need? Are you able and desiring to help? Will you take the step and actually help? You know the urgent needs in your sphere of influence. Which will you help with? As followers of Jesus we have to learn not to be self-focused but others focused. That does not mean that we do not look to our own interests, but it does mean that we are not concern with just our own interests. We need to learn to be concerned with the…

PEACE
He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. —Titus 2:14 We were dead in sin, separated from God and children of wrath (Ephesians 2:1-3). Jesus was our “Peace Child” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfjYFcLdEJ0 . Through Him we have peace with God (Romans 5:1) and in Him we can have the “peace of God which passes all understanding” (Philippians 4:6-7). When we begin to grasp what this means we are overwhelmed with gratitude. God brought us into peace with Himself, no longer His enemies (Romans 5:10). We are created in Christ Jesus for…
