MY HELP AND SALVATION

Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation! —-Psalm 38:22

            Who is there that is a better help than our Lord? So if we need help why is it that many times He is the last one we turn to? People get sick and who do they first turn to? People lose a job and who do they first turn to? People have a conflict of any kind and who do they first turn to? What do you need help with? Have you turned to the Lord for help? He is the first place we should be going? So go to Him for help.

            Who or what do we think is going to save us? Our Lord alone is the one ultimately in control of all things.   Shouldn’t we turn to Him? There is salvation in no one else (Acts 4:12).   We can look for salvation in ourselves, in other people, in circumstances, in money, in popularity, in anything, but salvation and help only comes from our Lord. All other supposed helps are just fleeting shadows, vapor that will vanish. But our Lord is always near. We just need to call on Him and trust Him.

Dear Father I am so grateful that I can trust Jesus fully. Thank You for all You have done, are doing and will do in and through my life. May I just seek to honor You. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus!
