PROVEN LOVE

All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us. He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. —Revelation 1:5-6

Nobody loves you like Jesus… nobody! His love led Him to the cross. Our sins led Him to the cross. Our lovelessness toward Him led Him to the cross. He went there because that was the only way we could be freed from our sins. Not only does He love us but He also made us into a kingdom of priests. We are go betweens— revealing God’s character and will to man —“All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.” All of us who have trusted Jesus and have been freed “from our sins by shedding his blood for us” are now to share Him with others. Today, Father, be please to work through me to impact another person for eternity. Help me to be sensitive to those I come into contact with and serve in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
