YOUR CONCLUSION

Some say Jesus was a prophet or a good teacher. Others say He was just a good man or a holy man. Still there are others who reject the idea that Jesus ever lived. They deny that He historically existed.

But when it comes right down to it, who do you say that Jesus is? Your final answer will seal your destiny forever. You can believe the faulty ideas of others or you can check it out for yourself. God’s Word, the Bible, is so accessible today through the written page or through the many technological devices that are available to read or listen to or even watch.

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world” (I John 4:14). “For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit” (Romans 8:3-4). “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21). Jesus “was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead” (Romans 1:4).

Now God “commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead” (Acts 17:30). Amos 4:12 tells us to “prepare to meet your God.” Are you prepared? You are if you have truly repented and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have not, then you are not prepared and I would encourage you— “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

Thank You dear Father for giving me Your righteousness through Jesus. I know I have none of my own, but I am grateful to know Him to be made right before you.
