HONOR JESUS WITH THE AUTHORITY HE HAS GIVEN US!

You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. —9:22

I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. —I Corinthians 9:22-23

I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.  I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.  Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. —Psalm 34:1-3

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. —II Corinthians 8:9

             Just as our Lord gave authority to the Israelites over kingdoms and nations, so also, He has given us authority to “make disciples of all nations.”  Paul made himself “a slave to everyone.”   Why?  “To win as many as possible.”  He did this for the sake of the gospel and by doing so he shared in the blessings of the gospel. 

             Paul’s focus was to “extol the Lord at all times” and to “glory in the Lord.”  His life of praise and lifting up our Lord Jesus was heard by the afflicted and many came to the Lord themselves rejoicing.  Paul’s desire was to see others “glorify the Lord with him” and to “exalt His name together.”  He followed the example of Jesus— “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”  Paul’s desire was to see the poor become rich.  Oh, that I would follow our Lord’s example as well.  May I lift up His name in my own life and may my life be impacting on others that they do the same.  May this be so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  Yes, may this be so for you honor and glory!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEbQswNB6Wc&list=RDcEbQswNB6Wc&start_radio=1
