BE FAITHFUL TO THE CALL OF JESUS ON OUR LIVES!
…for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. —Isaiah11 :9
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. —Habakkuk 2:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. —Matthew 24:14
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” —Matthew 28:18-29
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” —Acts 18
The fact is— God’s Word will—
- Fill the earth
- Be preached to the whole world
- Impact all nations
- Reach the ends of the earth
He has called His disciples and delegated to them the responsibility to do this. So, fellow follower/disciple of Jesus, are you and I being faithful in this call on our lives? Every single follower/disciple of Jesus is called to be a witness and a disciple-maker. Are you and I actively doing so? When was the last time you bore witness to someone? Are you involved in making disciples? I am not asking if you are supporting those who are making disciples. That’s great, but are you directly involved in the lives of others, making disciples yourself? Our Lord expects us all to be involved. If you are not being faithfully obedient in this area, will you repent of that disobedience and be faithful?
