BE READY FOR DEPARTURE!
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. —II Timothy 4:6-8
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. —II Timothy 4:18
As the Apostle Paul knew his “time of departure is near,” so also our time of departure is getting nearer. When we are close to departure, can we say with Paul that—
- I have fought the good fight
- I have finished the race
- I have kept the faith.
- I have longed for His appearing
- I have in store for me a crown of righteousness
- I will be brought safely to His heavenly kingdom
- I have acknowledge that all glory is His for ever and ever
Truly it is my desire to fight the good fight, to finish the race, to keep the faith and I do long for His appearing to set all things right. Oh, to receive the crown of righteousness and to be brought safely to His kingdom— what a joy that will be. I do acknowledge that all glory is His for ever and ever! Yes, Dear Father, these are my desires and may it be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. All glory is Yours for ever and ever. Amen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4JS1y-tGtg&list=RDh4JS1y-tGtg&start_radio=1
