DON’T BE A SCOFFER!
“Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you: “ ‘Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’” —Acts 13:38-41

Why would a person not call on Jesus and—
- Receive forgiveness of sins
- Be set free from every sin
- Receive justification (justice served on your behalf by Jesus)
Beware you do not do what the prophets said people would do. That there would be—
- Those scoffing at the message of Jesus
- Those wondering at the message of Jesus
- Those who would perish (in hell) by rejecting the message of Jesus
- Those not believing the message of Jesus
- Those rejecting the messengers bearing the message of Jesus
So, if you have not called on Jesus, please, I urge you, do so now! “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Your eternal destiny, heaven or hell, is determined on whether you call on Jesus or not.
Brother and sister, fellow follower/disciple of Jesus, may we faithfully bring the message of Jesus to those who have yet to call on Him!
