SAFE AND SECURE IN THE MIDST OF DIFFICULTY

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. —Hebrews 7:25-27

We are safe and secure in Jesus, regardless of what comes our way.  Jesus “always lives to make intercession for” us.  “And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).  How is that possible?  Well, only God can do that.  There is so much that happens we do not understand.  We do not have the big picture and we have so many questions.  But we also know that nobody or nothing

The heartache of this world cannot “separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  We need to cling to Him and trust Him for all those things that we do not understand— even those very hard, heart-wrenching things.  Trust Him, hold on to Him.  He has a hold on you!  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so for anyone going though the most difficult of times.  May You comfort, encourage them as they cling to You by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW5o2uBeMWQ
