THERE IS NONE LIKE OUR LORD— HE SEEKS THE LOST!

Therefore you are great, O LORD God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. —II Samuel 7:22

And now, O Lord GOD, you are God, and your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. —II Samuel 7:28

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” —Luke 19:10

There is none like the Lord our God Almighty.  He is great and all our ears hear about Him cause us to be in awe.  His Word is true and He cannot lie (Titus 1:2).  There are so many promises He has given for His servants/His friends and they will come to pass.

One of the promises He has made was that He has come to seek and save that which is lost.  Jesus did that when He was here on earth 2000 years ago and He still does that through His servants/friends today.  Are you being obedient in this?  Are you seeking the lost to share the gospel that they might be saved?  If not, why not?  Didn’t Jesus say, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come?” (Matthew 24:14).  Are we not to be those witnesses to bring the gospel to the nations? (Acts 1:8).  Did He not give us the mission to make disciples in all the nations? — “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=8s

It is interesting that His coming back it

s tied to the gospel— “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (II Peter 3:9).  Our Lord is being patient with His church to finish the mission.  Will we focus and be committed to this mission He has given us?  Oh, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Precious Son and my Lord Jesus.  So may it be!  And all for Your Honor and Glory! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcmqSfr1ENY
