ENJOY— WE ARE HERE BRIEFLY!

I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with.He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live;also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man. —Ecclesiastes 3:10-13

            The Sun has risen and set over 2,000,000 times in this creation of God.  The average life will have the sun rise and set 28,105 times during its existence.  One generation comes and goes just like the many before and those after.  Who remembers the vast majority of the dead for very long?  I vaguely remember my great-grandmothers and one great-grandfather.  I can only remember the voice of one great-grandmother.  That’s it.  That is as far back as I can remember and that was when she was 95 years old and that was 56 years ago when I was 12 years old.  All in my family before those great-grandparents are not remembered by me.  But the earth continues on as it has.

            Life is a gift from God and He desires us to enjoy it.  He desires us to take pleasure in the eating of food and drink.  He desires us to be joyful and to do good as long as we live.  He has put eternity on our hearts and we should know that we are not just some “accidents” that came into existence.  God’s immensity should humble us.  We know so little compared to Him and He is so good when compared to us.  But, “He has made everything beautiful in its time” and so let us enjoy that beauty.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of our Dear Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRSGXKsv7IU&list=RDBRSGXKsv7IU&start_radio=1
