DON’T WAVER— HOLD FAST TO OUR HOPE!

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. —Hebrews 10:23

            Are you holding fast to your confession of hope in our Lord Jesus?  Are you wavering?  Are you forgetting His promises?  Or, are you believing His promises?  Where is your focus— on the eternal hope or a temporary hope?  If you focus is on the temporal hope… well that won’t last.  But… the eternal hope will last forever and ever!  What joy!

            Your focus will determine how you live.  Do you believe He has a race marked out for you?  If so, then run that race with perseverance (Hebrews 13:1-2).  Do you believe that He has work for you that He prepared beforehand that you should walk in it?  Then serve Him in that work (Ephesians 2:10).  What you treasure is where your heart will be… where your focus will be (Matthew 6:21).  So, truly, where is your focus?  Then that is your heart’s focus, you life’s focus.  Is it on your confession of our hope and on His promises?  Or is your focus elsewhere?  How much are we focused on His will?  How much are we focused on our will?  Oh, that we would be focused on His!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkSBmRAVXNc

Oh, Dear Father, may our focus be on Your will and not on our will.  May we be focused on the eternal and not just the temporal.  May we not waver in this.  May we hold to Your promises in a world where there are so many broken promises.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority or Your Son Jesus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eQd3K2Fxp4
