IMITATORS, DECEIVERS, DESTROYERS USE FALSE COMMUNICATION

“Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” —Matthew 2:8

And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.  Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” —Matthew 2:12-13

Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men. —Matthew 2:16

Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever. —Psalm 81:15

There are those who deceptively use the truth of what is happening and communicate intentions that are far from their wicked heart’s desires. In the case above king Herod said that He wanted the wise men to send him word when they found the new born King because he too wanted to go and worship Him. He communicated one thing, but in his wicked heart was another plan— he wanted to destroy and kill the new born King.

The wise men were warned in a dream not to return to Herod, not to send him word of the whereabouts of the new born King. They were to return home by another way so Herod would not know of their finding the new born King. It was during this time that Joseph also was told to “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” The scheming liar Herod said he wanted to worship the new born King when all the while he wanted to kill Him. Be careful of deceitful communicators— “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves” (Matthew 7:15).  They appear to be something they really are not!   They are dangerous and destructive.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On-whMoulOM

Those who do not want to worship King Jesus, like Herod, will suffer an eternal fate —“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life” (Matthew 25:46). Praise God, brother and sister, we have eternal life and will be with King Jesus forever!
