MY HELP

 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. —Zechariah 4:6

 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. —Psalm 60:11-12

               “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1) and at all times.   Why would we trust in man when we can trust in God? Who or what are you trusting in right now? Will you trust Him today and for the rest of your life?

            There are so many who put their trust in man. They listen to what men have to say and hang on their words and act accordingly. Did you grasp what is said above? — “human help is worthless.” So where are we turning for help? It is only with God that we will find the help we need. He is always with us (Matthew 28:20) and will never leave or forsake us Hebrews 13:5). Dear Father I know I have no strength of my own and that my help does not come from myself or any man, but it comes from You. May I trust You today and for the rest of my life. May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
