GO… SO THEY CAN CALL ON HIM!

GO… SO THEY CAN CALL ON HIM!

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. —Joel 2:32

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” —Romans 10:11-15

Everyone… yes, “everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Those who truly call on His name “will never be put to shame.” Brother and sister let us rejoice for it was He who drew us to the point of desiring to call on His name (John 6:44). And… He does that same drawing in other people’s lives.

Now what? Do we just have a free ride to heaven? Are we to live life without any regard for others? Has Jesus saved us to keep the “good news” to ourselves? No! Others need to hear and He has given us the responsibility to bring this “good news” to others just as someone did for us! “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Do you remember who brought you the “good news?” God drew you to Jesus through them! He wants to do that same drawing of others through you.   Will you be faithful?

The “good news” may have come to you by someone speaking to you. It may have come by reading what someone gave you.   You may have read it by someone who left it in a place you would find it. Someone had “beautiful feet” that made the “good news” available to you.   Now… how are you doing so for others?   How can they call on Him of whom they have not heard? They can’t!   Will you go? https://youtu.be/bo9ZWX1lEKI?t=1017 Will you bring the “good news” to others? Are you feet “beautiful feet?”

Oh Dear Father may I be sensitive to those around me today and share the “good news” with those You desire me to. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
