The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. —Psalm 24:1-2

The earth, everything on it and all life is His. He is the Creator. He is the owner. He founded it all. He has a plan for it and He is carrying that plan out.

In the beginning of His creation “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). The sin of man brought death, guilt, fear, shame, conflict, pain, sweat and everything negative you can think of into this world. God gave man a choice and man chose to rebel against God’s Word and will.

But this world is heading toward an end one day and God will re-establish the future where everything will be perfect and nothing negative will be there.   This is being prepare for all those who call on the Name of the Lord to be saved from their sin and saved to a relationship with Jesus. Jesus took the penalty and punishment for sin so “that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

So are you ready to meet God either through death or His coming back to this planet—whichever comes first?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=32s Man is to be a faithful steward of this world. A steward is one who takes care of the property of another—His property.   Man cannot save this planet regardless of the flowery words and speeches he gives. The words of man do not negate the truth that this world is winding down and will have an end as some point in the future. Just read through the Book of Revelation and one thing that is undeniable is that an end is coming at some point in the future. We can see this world progressing toward that time. It will happen and nothing man can do will reverse that truth. So be ready to meet God whether through death or the coming of Jesus to this planet.

Dear Father I so look forward to being with Jesus in that perfect place. Never will I fail You there, but will honor You at all times. Yes, I look forward to that time to be with Jesus and all who love Him. While I am living may You help me to encourage others to trust Jesus and be ready for that day they meet You. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
