I LOVE HIM!

“But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” —Joshua 22:5

We are to love God, walk in His ways, obey His commands, hold firmly to Him and serve Him with all our heart and all our soul— with all our heart and all our soul! How many times in God’s Word are we reminded of this? (Deuteronomy 4:29; 6:5; 10:12; 11:13; 13:3; 26:16; 30:2, 6, 10; Matthew 22:37; Mark 12:30, 33; Luke 10:27). This is so vital to a healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. If we follow through in these areas we will have a vibrant relationship with the King of kings.

Dear Father, may I grow in my love for You and be faithful in being and doing what You desire. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
