For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. —II Corinthians 3:17
Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. —II Timothy 2:25-26
The above verses clearly state where freedom comes from and where bondage comes from. There are those who are set free by Jesus to do His will and there are those who are held captive by Satan to do his will. There is no in between. You have either been set free by Jesus or are in bondage to Satan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv6QxVWpzcA
Yes, those who have trusted Jesus are set free. It does not mean that life will be free of difficulties, but that He will walk with us through those difficulties. We are free from the power of sin, Satan and death and saved to eternal life with Jesus! Yes, surely, when we are free in Jesus we can praise Him even in the storm! In bondage we were alone; in freedom we are never alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUWbmtbzDno Oh, let us thank God for the freedom we have been given in Jesus! Let us bring this good news to others that they can experience this freedom in Jesus also. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaVg0cWkgAw
Dear Father in Heaven, I thank You for the freedom You have given me. Now, may I bring that message that freed me to others who are in bondage that they too can be free in Jesus. May this be so in the Holy Spirit’s power and in the authority of Jesus.
