JOYFULLY SING!

JOYFULLY SING!

 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!  Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods… . Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.  —Psalm 95:1-3, 6-7

             Do you have a song in your heart for our Lord? Is there joy in your heart toward Him? Are you praising Him for Who He is?   He is Great and above all in heaven and earth. He is the Lord our Maker and we are to worship Him. How wonderful that “we are the people of His pasture!” He is our Shepherd and we are His sheep. This is astounding!

            For all who have called on His Name belong to Him. Those He possesses should be full of joy— their hearts should be overflowing with joy, understanding whose they are! Are you filled with joy? Does your heart sing out to Him because of that joy? If not, why not? Do you not understand Whose you are? Do you not know Him?
