BE MADE RIGHT AND PURE BEFORE GOD!
BE MADE RIGHT AND PURE BEFORE GOD!
How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure? —Psalm 25:4
Here are two great questions for us. Can you and I be made right before God? Can we be pure before Him? This is impossible if we are left to ourselves. There is no way you and I could make ourselves pure and be right before God. But there is a way and only one way.
Many people think they can be right and pure before God because of the “good” they do. But that measurement of “good” is from their own perspective, not God’s. Jesus said, “No one is good–except God alone” (Mark 10:18). Then we are also told in Romans 3:10-12 that “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one” (Romans 3:10-12). So it is clear that man left to himself is not right before God, is not pure before God and is not good before God.
So how can one be right and pure before God? Well, that is why Jesus came. He came to provide the way where we could be made right before God. Listen to this wonderful truth— “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21). The sinless Son of God, the Lamb of God took our sin on Himself that we could have God’s righteousness! How does that happen? “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe” (Romans 3:22). Jesus has already done the work at the cross and through His resurrection to provide the way to be right and pure before God. He is “the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through” Him (John 14:26).

So that is the answer. You and I cannot be made right and pure before God in our own strength. The Father sent His Son to be the Savior of all those who would believe and call on His Name (John 3:16, 18, 36). If you have never called on Jesus to save you from your sin and to a relationship with God through Him, I encourage you to do so right now. If you have then I would encourage you to share this wonderful news with others! Do not keep this news to yourself! That is not why God saved you.
Dear Father I thank You for what You have done in my life. Now may I share this with others by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
