PRAYER FOR YOUR FRUITFULNESS

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. —Numbers 6:24-26

The sower sows the word. And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: the ones who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy. And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones sown among thorns. They are those who hear the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” —Mark 4:14-20

            Here is my prayer for you today.  Indeed, may our Lord bless you as you go through this day.  May He keep you faithful as you walk through this day.  May His light not only shine on you, but through you.  Oh, that His grace would be evident in your life as you know His peace.  Yes, may this be so as you sow His Word among the sphere of responsibility He has placed you in.

            We are in spiritual warfare and this world also impacts those where the seed of God’s Word is sown.  There are different responses and results as we sow His Word, but we need always keep in fellowship with our Lord and be/remain faithful.  Among those where the seed is sown are those—

• Who have hard hearts and the seed of God’s Word does not enter in their lives, but Satan immediately takes the Word away— NO FRUIT!
• Who immediately receive the Word sown in their lives with joy, but they don’t have any root and endure only for a little while. When persecution or trials come upon them because of the Word, they fall away— NO FRUIT!
• Who hear the Word, but they are focused on the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. Their desires for other things occupy their lives— NO FRUIT!
• Who hear the Word, they accept the Word and they BEAR FRUIT— SOME THIRTYFOLD, SOME SIXTYFOLD AND SOME A HUNDREDFOLD!

Now let me ask you a question— Which one of these are being blessed by the Lord, being kept by the Lord, being enlightened by the Lord, and experiencing His grace, fellowship and peace?  Oh, that you and I would be FRUITFUL to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus and all for Your honor and glory.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB6IvyegNCs
