I LOVE THE LORD!

I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. —Psalm 18:1-2

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? —Psalm 18:30-31

            Yes, I love You Lord.  You are my strength.  I am frail without You.  You are my constant, my Rock.  You are my safety, my fortress.  You are my deliverer.  There is no other.  You are my shield, my protection.  You alone are my salvation.  I can take comfort in You, my stronghold.  I can trust that Your way is perfect, even when I don’t understand.  Your Word is true and I can trust what You say 100%.  You, Lord, are God alone.  There are none like You.  I am so grateful to know you are always faithful.

            On this Thanksgiving of 2023, I have so much to be thankful for.  But what I am most thankful for is that You, Father, drew me to Jesus (John 6:22).  You sent someone to share the gospel with me, I heard and You gave me the ability to respond.  That was almost 44 years ago.  I am thankful for how You have led through all those years and I can trust You fully to lead through the rest of my time on this planet.  Yes, I love you Lord.
