The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah —Psalm 50:6

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. —Psalm 19:1

When was the last time you looked up at the heavens?  The heavens declare His righteousness and His glory.  Should we not stand in awe as we look up at the heavens with such a declaration they are making?  He said—

“Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day”. —Genesis 1:14-19

How Elaine and I enjoyed the warm sun yesterday as we kayaked around Bow Lake here in NH.  The summers are short and these warm days on the lake are such a joy as we reflect on Who has given them to us.  Not only that, but these beautiful days are a reminder of the perfection of Heaven to come.  What joy now as we enjoy His Creation!  What joy then when everything will be perfect!  We get a glimpse of what Heaven is going to be like when we ponder the glory of His Universe and the rest of His Creation.  Yes, let us reflect on these wonders!

Thank You, Dear Father for the joy of enjoying Your Creation and the glimpse of what Heaven will be like.  Thank You for the joy You have given me by Your Holy Spirit and by Your Son.  May I live a grateful, generous live for Your honor and glory as I look forward to Heaven.
