FORGIVEN

FORGIVEN

You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. —Micah 7:19

If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. —Psalm 130:3-6

If our Lord would keep record of our sin, who would be able to stand before Him?  The answer is obvious, nobody, because—

“There is no one righteous, not even one.  There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.  Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.  The venom of vipers is on their lips.  Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.  Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery lie in their wake, and the way of peace they have not known.  There is no fear of God before their eyes.” —Romans 3:11-18

We are all in the same boat.  We are all sinners.  We have all fallen short of the perfection we need to know God and be in His presence.  Indeed, if He were to keep record of our sin, we would have no hope and wind up in Hell.  But, with our Lord there can be forgiveness.  Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose the 3rd day, proving Himself to be the Son of God who can forgive our sins (I Corinthians 15:3-5; Romans 1:4; Romans 10:13; Romans 6:23; Romans 3:19-26).  “All our sins are cast into the depths of the sea to never be dredged up” for all who call on Jesus.  Rejoice all you who have done so.  We are forgiven and our hope is entirely on our Lord and what He has to say.  His Word only can we trust 100% of the time.  Wait on Him.  Spend time with Him.  Trust Him fully and live for Him! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kND0DcTCOE

Thank You Dear Father for the hope, the expectation You have given me in Jesus.  Oh, thank You that my sins are forgiven in Him and that He was willing to take, not only my sin, but also the sins of the whole world upon Himself so whoever calls on Him will be saved.  May I be faithful and out of great gratefulness bring this joyful message to others.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and on the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=252s
