PEACE ONLY COMES THROUGH OUR CREATOR AND SUSTAINER OF ALL!

I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the LORD, who does all these things. —Isaiah 45:7

 I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.  —Isaiah 45:12 

For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): “I am the LORD, and there is no other. —Isaiah 45:18 

Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. —Isaiah 45:22

“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; I am the first, and I am the last. My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together. —Isaiah 47:12-13

“There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.” —Isaiah 47:22

            Our Lord is the Creator of all— “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:15-16). “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). 

And our Lord is the Sustainer of all— “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 1:3).  “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.”  We only continue to exist because Jesus holds it all together!

            He is Sovereign over everything— light, darkness, well-being, calamity, the earth, the heavens, the heavenly hosts, the inhabitants of the earth.  This One who has created all is the One who holds all who have called on Him (Romans 10:13) in His hands (John 10:27-28).  Nothing in all creation can separate His followers from Him… nothing!

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” —Romans 8:37-39

            That gives us a peace that this world, and those who do not know Jesus and are not following Him, cannot give (Romans 5:1; John 14:27; John 16:33).  Those who do not know Jesus cannot have the peace He offers.  It is found only in relationship with Him— “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”  So, brother and sister, fellow follower of Jesus, as long as we live let us bring the message of peace in Jesus to those who do not have Him or peace.  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls01XGV7oA0
