OUR FAITHFUL LORD
(Today’s fasting and prayer Scripture— Ephesians 2:1-10—- Paise God for making us alive in Jesus who were once dead in our trespasses and sins. Now may we serve Him in the purposes for which He has called us. This will be my prayer focus that I seek within the hour of 6am, 12pm and 6pm)
OUR FAITHFUL LORD
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. —Psalm 86:5
Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. —Psalm 86:11
Do you truly believe that our Lord:
- Is good?
- Is forgiving?
- Abounds in steadfast love?
- Teaches us?
- Teaches us so that we may walk in His ways?
- Unites our heart to fear His Name?
Many question the goodness of God because of the wickedness and evil that happens in our world. But what man fails to acknowledge is that man has caused the evil in the world and they need to “come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:26). Man follows Satan’s will whether they believe it or not. Jesus came to rescue people out of the devil’s clutches, but He will not force anyone to follow Him. He invites them to Himself.
