TRUST IN THE LORD OUR GOD!

 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!…  May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans!…  Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. —Psalms 20:1, 4, 7

            What trouble are you facing today?  May the Lord answer you as you call on Him.  May He protect you in whatever situation you are in.  “May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans!”  Trust in the name of the Lord for He can do what great armies cannot do.

            Some will trust in the creations of man to resolve problems.  Some will trust in the strength of creation to resolve conflicts.  But “His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love” (Psalm 147:10-11).  Whatever trouble you may be going through, this is the starting point— 1- fear the Lord (“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil” — Proverbs 8:13) 2- put your hope in His unfailing love.  So, are you going through trouble?  So, do you fear the Lord?  Are you putting your hope in His unfailing love?  This is where His protection starts.
