People can claim many ways, but there is only one God— Father, His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit. This is what His Word states and how can we figure God out? He is God and so far above us. He is glorious and we are not. He is the Creator and we are the created— “You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ’You did not make me’? Can the pot say to the potter, ‘You know nothing’”? As the clay is not like the potter, so the created is not like the Creator. How dare we say to Him, “You did not create us!” How dare we say to Him, “You know nothing!” That is the very pinnacle of arrogance!
But the arrogant, those who desire not to serve God, will be known as the righteous will be distinct from the wicked. Those who know God seek to serve Him and one can only know God through His Son Jesus (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). All that is accursed will be separated out and be gone forever and those serving Him will worship Him. Yes, our Lord is coming to “recompense” everyone for what they have done— “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life” (Matthew 25:46; 31-46). Be ready! Those who add or take away from what God has said will be judged by God. We will see Jesus soon— either by His coming to this earth or through our death. But every person who has called on Jesus, which bears evidence by service to Him, will be with Him forever. Time is getting shorter and shorter as we live this last day of 2022.
