FAITH IS NOT BLIND!

FAITH IS NOT BLIND!

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. —Hebrews 11:1

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. —Hebrews 11:6

Do you have faith?  Are you assured of the things we hope for as spoken by our Lord?  Are you firmly convicted of those things He has told us but we presently do not see?  Are you certain with the evidence of the things spoken of, but are not seen?

Do you have faith?  Without it you cannot please God.  God is please with those who believe and trust Him, having “the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior” (Titus 1:2-3).  Yes, “it is impossible for God to lie” (Hebrews 6:18) and we can trust Him always.

If a person has faith, then they will—

  • Draw near to God
  • Believe that He exists
  • Believe that He rewards those who seek Him

Again, do you have faith? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhk_5c6H-yc Faith is not blind.  Faith always has a focus.  You have faith in…  The chair you are sitting in… The car you are driving… the spouse you are married to… the employee that you have hired… And for we who have called on Jesus to save us from sin and to a relationship to God through Him— we have faith in Him… keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).  He is the focus of our faith for eternal life (Romans 6:23), forgiveness (Romans 4:7-8), a guaranteed inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14) and so, so much more.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENtL_li4GbE Yes, we can trust Him fully.

Dear Father I am so grateful for You sending Your Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish in hell, but have eternal life and be with Him forever.  Oh, I so look forward to that time.  But until then, may I seek to live to please You above all else.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So be it!
