WE ARE TO FOLLOW JESUS

“Follow me.”

            To follow Jesus first shows “that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him” (John 3:15).  Those who follow will be like “The wind blowing wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit” (John 3:8).  Followers of Jesus will desire to go wherever God’s Holy Spirit guides them, be what He desires them to be and do what He desires them to do.  So I ask again— “Are you following Jesus?” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8Sx_U0Ztr8

            If so, what is that looking like in your life?  How are you following Him?  What is different in your life because you are following Him?  What is it that you left behind because you are following Him?  To follow Jesus means to love Him above everything else.  To follow Jesus is a desire to be obedient to His desires.  To follow Jesus is to emulate Him.  To follow Jesus is to tell others about Him.  To follow Jesus is to know His Word and to share His Word with others.  To follow Jesus is to make disciples that will in turn make disciples.  To follow Jesus is to have His mission as foremost in life.  To follow Jesus is to want to be with Him.  Yes, to follow Jesus is to want to serve Him and serve people however He desires.  So… are you following Jesus? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ohvhmGSfxI
