Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” —Matthew 21:19-22

Faith— “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1).  So what do you have confident assurance of that you hope for, but presently do not see?  If you are convinced this is the Lord’s will and truly believe this is His direction then your prayer will be answered— “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” (I John 5:14).  Be faithful as you wait on Him to answer according to His timetable.  Only He can move the mountain that needs to be moved.  Will we trust Him to do so?

Dear Father I thank You that You can be depended on entirely to answer in such a way that is according to Your will and what is best for all involved.  Oh, there is so much I do not understand, but I will trust You for those things.  May I be faithful with what I do know by the power of Your Holy Spirit and by the authority of Your Son Jesus.
