DRAW NEAR TO GOD!

 But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works. —Psalm 73:28

             What is our desire today? Who is your desire today? Have you drawn near to God today? Are you counting on Him as your refuge? Will you tell of His works?

            The answers to those questions really give an indicator as to what and who is really important in your life. Is God who I desire more than anything else on this earth? Do I desire Him more than money? Do I desire Him more any material wealth? Do I desire Him more any other relationship? Do I desire Him more reputation? Do I desire Him more my status in life?   Do I desire Him more than anything? Answers to those questions really point to what or who truly is important to you.

            “But for me it is good to be near God.”   We are told to “Come near to God and he will come near to you” (James 4:8). So draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. What better place could there ever be than to be near the Creator and Sustainer of all things? Draw near… listen to Him… hear and understand… and then be faithful to what He desires for you. Yes, my Father may this be the case for me by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!   Then may I tell others about Your works.   Yes, may I do so!
