             Is this your focus in life?             Set your mind and heart to seek Jesus now.   Do not put it off! The last thing we want is to impact others who are seeking Him in a negative way because of our actions. This will not happen if we truly have our focus right. Then when we go through good times or difficult times we will have the proper perspective and not be a negative impact in our own lives and other people’s lives that have their hope in our Lord.

            It is so unfortunate when well known leaders do not have it has their highest priority to seek our Lord with their whole being. Many have impacted others when their wrongs, their sins, their scandals are known. It is also unfortunate that there are many that put this much emphasized focus of leadership as to be so negatively impacted by their actions that they even drop out. Our focus, whatever giftedness from the Lord we have, is to “set our mind and heart to seek the LORD our God” as top priority! This speaks of devotion and commitment. Are you and I committed like this? Are we devoted? If we do not have this type of commitment, then we will be negatively impacted by the actions of others and the circumstances that come upon us. Oh, that you and I would be devoted and committed to our Lord! Dear Father may this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
