LIFE-LONG LIVING FOR JESUS!

 So I will bless you as long as I live. —Psalm 63:4

             The Lord is our life, not part of it, not a compartment of it, not just showing up on Sunday, but He is all of our life! —“By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.” Yes, He is the God of my life and I will bless and exalt Him as set apart from all others. He is to have first place in my life and this is to be the case for all my life and in every part of my life— not just part of it!

            As someone has said, “Following Jesus is a long distance race, not a sprint.”   And so it is. Following Jesus is a life-long race right up to crossing the finish line— at death or when He returns. Yes, I will follow Him all my life! I will persevere in the race marked out for me and seek to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2). Let us run in a pack after Jesus, encouraging each other on… as long as we live! Yes, dear Father may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
