PLAIN COMMUNICATION WITHOUT WORDS!

 The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah —Psalm 50:6

 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.   Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. Without speech or language, without a sound to be heard, their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. —Psalm 19:1-4

 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. —Romans 1:20

             You are looking into the night sky and just sigh with wonder at the beauty you are taking in. The moon is bright and the stars are shining. What are you thinking? Now imagine for a moment that you are standing in front of a wall with that same night-time scene in a painting hung before you. What would you be thinking? Maybe wow… that artist really captured that scene. Or, what amazing talent that artist has. Or, that person has astounding creativity. Now, allow the wall to disappear and you are once again looking into the night sky. What would you say about what you are viewing?

            The heavens declare, the heavens proclaim, the heavens pour forth daily speech, the heavens reveal knowledge, silently the heavens communicate to the whole earth and there is not a place where their voiceless words are not heard.   God’s righteousness is declared silently in the heavens and so is His eternal power and divine nature. This happens day after day and night after night.   This communication is never ending and so men are without excuse. To say there is no God is to be blind to the obvious.

Dear Father I am so grateful for the beauty of Your creation. How astounding it is to look into the night sky and to think how immense the universe is that You created stretches the mind as to Who You are.   As gigantic as Your creation is I am so glad that You know my name. That is amazing that You would even care about me. I am thankful and not may I live out that thankfulness by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
