NOTHING TOO DIFFICULT FOR OUR LORD!
Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD of hosts is his name: “If this fixed order departs from before me, declares the LORD, then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before me forever.” Thus says the LORD: “If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done, declares the LORD.” —Jeremiah 31:35-37
“Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” —Jeremiah 32:17
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” —Jeremiah 32:27
Nothing is too difficult for our Lord. He can do whatever He desires. The verses above give the fact that the fixed order of the sun, moon and stars will continue. And if this order was to cease then the nation of Israel would cease to exist as well. Also, “if the heavens can be measured and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, they the offspring of Israel would be cast off.”
The implication of these verses is that the fixed order will continue. The sun will continue to give its light, the moon will continue to shine at night and the stars will continue to give their light. Also, the heavens will not be able to be measured and the foundations of the earth will not be explored. There are some things that are just out of reach of man— even though he may think that is not true.
Man cannot control any of these things, but nothing is too difficult for our Lord. And that being the case then He can take care of You and me. So as you feel the warmth of the sun, see the moon and stars then let them remind you of His great power and that He can take care of you! Dear Father I am grateful to know I am safe in Your hands. You who keep the order of all things surely can accomplish what You desire in and through my life. Now may I be faithful to You and Your desires. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
