FEAR THE LORD!

FEAR THE LORD!

 But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? —Job 28:12

 And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’ —Job 28:28

             What is wisdom? It is a fear of the Lord and and desire to love His as He desires. It is to turn away from evil and to follow His ways.   That is what understanding is. So with that in mind— Are you wise? Do you have understanding?

            Those who do not fear the Lord live like they want to live without any regards to His desires. They also come up with all sorts of belief systems as they try to negate that He is the only way to truly live life now and to have eternal life (John 10:10; 14:6; Acts 4:12).

            Want wisdom? Have a right perspective on who the Lord is. Do you want understanding? Turn away from evil and do His will. Godly wisdom and understanding cannot be attained without these actions. One can claim anything they want, but the reality is that only fearing the Lord truly brings wisdom and understanding. Dear Father may I live wisely with understand that only comes from You. Oh, that I would have nothing to do with evil and seek to live for You in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus.
