For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back? —Isaiah 14:27

For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish! —Psalm 112:6-10

Be assured of this— those things our Lord has purposed will take place.   None can hinder them from happening.   When He is moving forward nobody can turn Him back from His plans and desires. They will be accomplished. So, what does our Lord want to do in and through your life? He will do what He has purposed.

And “the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.”   Think about that dearly beloved of our Lord. Nothing can change your position in Him— you “will never be moved.” It is said of the righteous that “He is not afraid of bad news.” Does that describe you? And why would the righteous not be afraid of bad news? It is because he is “trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid.” He knows he is on the victory side! Fear is a lack of trust, a lack of faith.

Those who are righteous also give freely from the resources our Lord has given them. They are others-orientated and not self-orientated. The poor do not go unnoticed by the righteous. They freely give to them. The righteous know that He is safe and secure in our Lord and is therefore giving of his resources our Lord has resourced him with. Do you give freely?

The wicked see what our Lord is doing in the life of the righteous and they are angry at them. We can see this all around the world. Those who want to live for our Lord are opposed for no purpose other than they are hated for doing so! But the desire of the wicked will perish. Their end will come upon them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klazB4j4tL0 Let us live faithfully for Him.

So beloved, we are so fortunate to know Him, to be on the victory side and to know that we will be with Jesus forever and with all those who love Him.   Rejoice!

Dear Father I do thank You that I know You will carry out Your purposes on this planet and in and through my life. May I be faithful to Your purposes in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
