ABUSIVE DESTRUCTION OF PEOPLE’S LIVES!
A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God. —Deuteronomy 22:5
That which God has designed is being trampled on. Those in leadership positions are not adhering to what our Lord God Almighty has purposed— whether it is government leaders or parents. Instead they are rebelling against Him and advancing wicked ideas contrary to what God has spoken. They are seeking to take the place of God and are writing their own ungodly decrees. There is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Just as Adam and Eve rebelled against God, so man has done the same thing down through history right down to our generation.
Gender identity— did God speak to the issue? He sure did! For a male to THINK he is a female is an abomination to our Lord. So is a female who THINKS she is a male. This too is an abomination to our Lord. Listen, this is all in a person’s head. It is skewed thinking. It is perverted thinking and opponents of God “must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:25-26). People who think like this need to repent— turn from their own ways and follow God’s ways and this will lead them to a knowledge of the truth. Then “they will come to their senses” and start thinking right. By thinking right they will “escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.” Satan has people trapped in this gender identity prison. So many times he uses the abuse that has taken place in a person’s life to do so. He is encouraging people to do his will and Satan is only a destroyer of people’s lives.
Jesus said, “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate” (Mark 10:6-9). Jesus reaffirmed the design of God which has been from the beginning of mankind. Satan seeks to destroy that design and he will use any scheme he can to do so. Gender identity is another scheme of Satan to destroy people’s lives and it does. Dear Father what else can happen except the destruction of people’s lives when we go against Your design? Please dear Father may You intervene in people’s lives that deal with “gender identity” and help this see from Your perspective. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus. Oh, may it be so!
