DON’T CARRY YOUR BURDEN

DON’T CARRY YOUR BURDEN

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. —Psalm 55:22

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” —Matthew 11:28-30

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. —I Peter 5:7

What burden are you carrying today? Why are you carrying it when our Lord has asked us to give Him our burden?   How come you have not done that?   Will you do that? He invites us to do so!

When we give Him our burdens, He sustains us. He will not allow us to move in the wrong direction, but we will be able to stand firm. He gives us that ability in the most difficult of life’s storms. These storms can weary us. And yes these storms of life can burden us. But the invitation from Jesus is to come to Him because He cares for us and He wants to help us. Will you let Him or will you carry the burden yourself? If you seek to carry the burden yourself you will experience, weariness, a desire not to keep going, discouragement, a heaviness, compass less thoughts, restlessness, a hardness, anxiety and a wondering if anyone cares. This is a dark place to be.

Jesus wants to carry our burdens. He wants to help us. He is always available to help us. He has always been there. Will you not call out to Him for help? Will you not swallow your pride and acknowledge you cannot do it on your own and that you need Him? He is waiting for you to call out to Him.   Oh that you would do so and allow Him to carry your burden and comfort you.   May it be so!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsQmsEE_2-s

Dear Father in Heaven I am so glad that I called on Jesus back in February of 1979. I thank You that I have always been able to count on Him. I am grateful that even when things happen that I do not understand that I can trust You fully. There is nobody else to go to when only You have the answers. May I trust You in the dark times and when times a not dark and may I do so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.   Thank You for carrying my burdens.   May I always heed the invitation and bring them to You.
