OUR WORTHY LORD!

            Jesus was slain for us. He took the penalty and punishment for us. He then rose from the grave for us. He is ascended for us. He is preparing a place for us. One all those who love Him will be received into His presence… forever!

            All power belongs to our Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God (John 1:29). No power exists that is greater than He. No power exists that even comes close to His power. All their powers are less than nothing when compared to Him— “Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing” (Isaiah 40:17).  None compare to Him in power! No power rivals Him.

            All wealth is His. He created all wealth and gives wealth to whom He desires— “But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18). So many believe they are self-made when it comes to the area of wealth. The only reason we have wealth, at any level, is because our gracious Lord gave it.   Unfortunately, there are many wealthy people in this world that are not grateful to Him, don’t recognize His graciousness upon them and use their wealth for selfish reasons. But all wealth is His and all of us will give account as to how we used it.

            All wisdom is His. He knows all and applies all knowledge properly. For those who are in relationship with Jesus He “has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord” (I Corinthians 1:30-31). Arrogant man thinks he comes up with information on his own. This could not be further than the truth. We would not be able to know anything unless our Lord revealed it in His time and for His purposes. We will also give account to our Lord in this area of usage.

            All honor, glory and blessing are His as well. When we truly understand Who He is this is a clearly understood.   It is astounding Who He is and yet He cares for us. So immense is He and so puny are we and yet He knows all about us and always has our best interests in mind. This is tremendously thought provoking to search this out. May we do so!

Dear Father I am so grateful that You drew me to Jesus so I could know Him, serve Him and be with Him forever one day. Until them may I be faithful in communicating to others that they might know You and be encouraged to live for You. May this be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son.
